"Those Who Humble Themselves Will Be Exalted!” (Luke 14:11 NLT)

This scripture gives both instruction and wisdom, God lifts those who are humble to greater; however, God has no problem bringing down the proud. A proud person is self-seeking, self-exalted and he or she is certain to face resistance from God. (Isaiah 14:12-14) A humble person relies on God for elevation, direction and wisdom, while considering the needs of others, even before their own. (Matthew 23:11) I encourage you, if you desire promotion, advancement, and favor, to humble yourself—God will exalt you when the time is right! (1 Peter 5:5-6)

“Whoever exalts himself will be humbled and whoever humbles himself will be honored!” (Matthew 23:12) ~ God
