Christ’s Treasure is In You!

Our bodies are made of clay, yet we have the treasure of the Good News in them! This shows that the superior power of this treasure belongs to God and doesn't come from us! (2 Corinthians 4:7 GWT)

This verse teaches us that we have the treasure of the Good News in us. The Good News is the Word of God. John 1:1 teaches us, “in the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was God Himself.” Because you have the Word of God in you, you have God Himself in You. Christ is the treasure in us that gives us the hope and power we need. To look at some of us, one might think we’re weak, reserved and unable to make significant contributions toward the building of God’s Kingdom. They may in turn persecute, discourage and measure us by the success of worldly standards, but much like ants, we are more than meets the eye.
