Thankfulness is a matter of perspective—how do you view where you are right now? Are you thankful while trusting in God’s will or are you a complainer? Thankfulness maximizes the blessings of life and minimizes every negative circumstance we encounter. For example, you may not be thankful for the doctor’s test results, but you can thank God, because it could have been worse. You may not be thankful for your job, but you thank God you have a job and health insurance for you and your loved ones. You may not be thankful, because you do not have the latest greatest car, but you can thank God you have a car that gets you where you need to go. When you choose to turn your focus from complaining to thankfulness—God’s fullness, God’s joy and God’s peace can flow in you!
