In Exodus chapter 14, the Israelites had a well-armed Egyptian army on their tracks, the Red Sea in front and mountains on both sides. The Israelites were surrounded, but God obviously had a plan of deliverance! It looked like the Israelites were surrounded and defeated, but Jehovah Gibbor, the LORD Mighty in battle, won the victory before the battle ever began!
