Immanuel, which means, “God is with us!” (Matthew 1:23)

"The virgin will become pregnant and give birth to a son, and they will name Him Immanuel," which means "God is with us!" (Matthew 1:23) Through life’s greatest difficulties and life’s roughest roads, we have nothing to fret or dread, because Immanuel—God is with us! Jesus is Emmanuel—God with us. Jesus put the glory of God on display at the human level. (John 1:14) We too can share the testimony of the psalmist David when he says, “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, because You are with me!” (Psalm 23:4) God never leaves us to battle our way through difficulty alone and when it seems our greatest trouble is weighing heavily on our shoulders, God promises to be our protector and strength, a present help who is always found in times of trouble! (Psalm 46:1) I encourage you to hang in there and remain encouraged, no matter what, never forget—Immanuel, “God is with you!” (Galatians 6:9, Jeremiah 17:7) "I will never
