P.U.S.H—Pray Until Something Happens!

Prayer gives us the ability to communicate with the omniscient (all-knowing), omnipresent (ever-present) and omnipotent (all-powerful) God of this universe. As Jesus spoke to His disciples, He speaks to us today in Luke 18:1 HCSB when He says, “pray always and do not become discouraged.” The success of prayer is founded on us having absolute trust in the power and the will of God. (Romans 8:28) We must believe that "what we pray shall come to pass!" (Mark 11:23) God desires and He is pleased when we come to Him asking Him to help us and strengthen us. Can He hear us? Yes. Is He listening? Yes. Our prayers are a small part of a broader and deeper conversation with our heavenly Father, but our prayers are both powerful and effective. (James 5:16) I encourage you not to give up on what you’ve been praying for, continue to seek the LORD, continue trusting and believing—our God who has promised is faithful and He won’t fail! (Lamentations 3:22)
