Forget The Past And Look Forward To What Lies Ahead! (Philippians 3:13)
In this scripture Apostle Paul teaches, “Forget those things which are
behind.” Forgetting doesn’t mean we wipe out our memories, it simply means—let it
go. What can heal the past and start forward progress? Letting go
of our past. Whether it’s letting go by letting God handle it, letting go by forgiving,
or letting it go by walking away, never looking back in the rearview mirror. When
our attention and emotions are absorbed by our past, it hinders progress. As we
approach the last days of 2014, I encourage you not to wait to make a New Year’s
Resolution to move forward, but start today by trusting and believing— God has a
greater and better future in store for you! (Jeremiah 29:11)
Forget about what’s happened; don’t keep going over old history. Be
alert, be present. I’m about to do something brand new. It’s bursting out!
Don’t you see it? There it is! I’m making a road through the desert, rivers in
the badlands!” (Isaiah 43:18-19 MSG) ~ God
Pray This Prayer With Me: Father, You tell us in 2 Corinthians 4:9, in
every way we're troubled, we aren't crushed by our troubles. We're frustrated,
but we don't give up. We’re persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but
never destroyed! Today I choose to trust You, I choose to put my faith and hope
in you, knowing that You are good and You have good things in store for my
future! (Jeremiah 29:11) I humbly pray, in Jesus' Mighty Name, Amen! Have a
great day! Never forget, in all circumstances, God loves you and you are
extremely valuable and important in God’s eyes! In His service, Jacob...
