Asking In Faith Works!

A.S.K [Ask, Seek, Knock] Keep on ASKING, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on SEEKING, and you will find. Keep on KNOCKING, and the door will be opened to you. (Matthew 7:7 NLT)

Everyone who ASKS, receives. Everyone who SEEKS, finds. And to everyone who KNOCKS, the door will be opened! (Matthew 7:8 NLT) If faith without works is dead, then asking without seeking and knocking is just as lifeless. (James 2:17) Most Bible translators didn’t do us any favors with their translation of Matthew 7:7-8, because most suggest a “one call that’s all” solution to prayer. That’s why I prefer the New Living Translation when teaching this verse to properly explain. Of course, there are times a single prayer is enough, but there are times it takes persistence in faith to receive God’s promises. Jesus teaches us in Luke 18 when He tells His disciples, “always pray and never give up.” & 1 Thessalonians 5:17 teaches us to, “pray continually.” My point is simple: whatever the need, no matter what it looks like, nothing is too hard for God, so keep believing and asking in faith until you get it!

God’s Word To You: “If you ask anything in My Name I will do it!” (John 14:14)

Pray This Prayer With Me: Father, I thank You for the blessings and grace You have given me this day
. Holy Spirit I ask that You to help me pray correctly and persistently according to Your will for my life and from a heart of faith! I humbly pray this prayer, in Jesus' name, Amen! Have a great day! Never forget, in all circumstances, God loves you and you are extremely valuable and important in God’s eyes! In His service, Jacob...
