Be Careful—The Seeds You Sow Today, You Will Reap Again Someday!

Be Not Deceived; God Is Not Mocked: For Whatsoever You Sow, That Shall He Also Reap! (Galatians 6:7)

The scripture above is both a warning and an encouragement. The beginning teaches us in the original text, “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked.” Mocking the Lord includes laughing or sneering at His commandments and becoming arrogant and proud towards God. Some think that if they don’t believe in God, it doesn’t matter what the Bible says, but whether spiritual principles are accepted or denied, they apply to everyone. Every choice we make has a consequence, so you must ask yourself the question, “What am I sowing? You are sowing something. What is it? You will harvest exactly what you’re sowing. What you put in is what you will get out. Take the time to plant seeds of righteousness and you will reap a harvest of eternal rewards! (Galatians 6:9)
