Don’t Be Misled: No One Makes A Fool Of God. Whatever You
Plant Is What You'll Harvest! (Galatians 6:7 MSG)
The scripture above is both a warning and an encouragement. The beginning teaches us in the original text, “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked.” Mocking the Lord includes laughing or sneering at His commandments and being arrogant and proud toward Him. Some people think that if they don’t believe in God, it doesn’t matter what the Bible says, but whether spiritual principles are accepted or denied, they apply to everyone. Every choice we make has a consequence, so you must ask yourself the question, “What am I sowing? You are sowing something. What is it? You will harvest exactly what you’re sowing. What you put in is what you will get out. Many only think naturally, as it relates to sowing and reaping, but if you are not regular in public worship; if you do not spend time daily in the word and prayer; if you do not practice tithing and sacrificial giving; if you do not practice the other disciplines of the Christian life, how can you expect to harvest the fruit of the Spirit and the blessings of the Kingdom of God? Take the time to plant seeds of righteousness and you will reap a harvest of eternal rewards! (Galatians 6:9)
God’s Word To You: “Brothers and sisters, don't let anyone move you off the foundation of your faith. Always excel in the work you do for the Lord. You know that the hard work you do for the Lord is not in vain! (1 Corinthians 15:58)
Pray this prayer with me: LORD, I ask that You direct my steps today so that my words and deeds are spiritual seeds sown to reap eternal life!
