Watch Your Mouth!

Death And Life Are In The Power Of The Tongue! Watch your tongue and keep your mouth shut and you will stay out of trouble! (Proverbs 18:21, Proverbs 21:23 NLT) If you want to know how strong your faith is, pay attention to what’s coming out of your mouth. It’s not enough to read God’s word, but you must believe it and speak His word! The Word of God gives plenty of evidence that God's word has the power of life. In Genesis we see God create every inch of the world with His spoken word. John 1:1 tells us that Jesus is the Word. Throughout the Gospels, Jesus heals countless people with the power of His words. In a similar manner, our words have that same power. God wants our words to birth life! We can choose what we will sow—words of life or words of death—and we will reap the benefits or consequences many times over!

God’s Word To You: "The Words That I Have Spoken To You Are Spirit And Are Life!” (John 6:63)

Pray this prayer with me: Father, I invite You into my thought pattern, so I can have a renewed mind, the mind of Christ, so I can please You with the words of my mouth. May the words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in Your sight, LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer! (Psalm 19:14 NLT) I humbly pray, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
