Ask In Jesus’ Name!

I can guarantee this truth: If you ask the Father for anything in My name, He will give it to you!” (John 16:23)

Whenever we ask God for anything in Jesus’ name, our mindset should be, “I'm putting my entire faith for my prayer to be answered not in who I am or what I have done, but in the person and name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and what He has done for me on the cross!” Jesus says to us, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name, He will give you!” This means that in your prayer for healing, when you say “in Jesus’ name”, healing comes over your sick body because it is by His stripes that you are healed! (1 Peter 2:24) In your prayer for protection, when you say “in Jesus’ name,” you are kept safe because the blood of Jesus protects and delivers you from all evil! (Exodus 12:13) There Is Power In Jesus’ Name, Amen!

God’s Word To You: “If you ask anything in My name I will do it!” (John 14:14)

Pray This Prayer With Me: Father, I ask that You would shape my praying by all that Your word reveals concerning Your will and Your work on my behalf. I thank You for all the great promises of answered prayers in Your son Jesus' name I pray, amen!
