Happy Memorial Day!
Happy Memorial
Day! The Greatest Love You Can Show Is To Give
Your Life For Your Friends! (John 15:13) Finding someone who would die for a
godly person is rare. Maybe someone would have the courage to die for a good
person. Christ died for us while we were still sinners. This demonstrates God's
love for us! (Romans 5:7-8) God Loved The World This Way: He Gave His Only Son So That Everyone Who Believes In Him Will
Not Die, But Will Have Eternal Life! (John 3:16) Memorial Day is set aside to
remember those who have fallen in our nation’s wars. We don't have to believe
in war, or support military action to still honor our dead brothers and
sisters, mothers and fathers, friends and neighbors. Wars come and go, but
wounds and scars remain. Today, we commemorate Memorial Day in the United States.
Some people have patriotic moment of making this day a red, white and blue flag
waving celebration. Although it is all that, but much more besides that, we
remember and proudly honor those who gave their lives to protect us, but we
should also be aware of the many veterans at home, in hospital or veteran’s
homes who still relive their time of combat and have wounds, physically and
internally, that will never be healed on this side of glory. Regardless of what
you do on this day, please take the time for a moment of reflection, thank a
soldier, pray for the fallen or pray for the active duty that are currently serving.
Pray this prayer with me: Lord God, we who are free sometimes forget about
those who are still captive to past traumatic experiences and fearful events.
We can truly never know all that occurred to preserve our freedom on the
battlefields. Forgive us for being uninformed and complacent. Bless those who
sacrificed everything to give us what we cherish most today our freedom. I
humbly pray, in Jesus' Name, Amen. Blessings people of God and I hope this day
is a blessed day for you filled with the joy, peace, love, happiness, blessings
and favor of our Father far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think
[infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]
(Ephesians 3:20 Amp) May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your
spirit. Amen! (Philippians 4:23) Have a great day and a great week! I love you
people of God, but remember God loves us the most! Your servant, Jacob...
