In Mk 9:35, we find instructions on how to rise to the top—Remain Humble! How does one remain humble? Serve. Humility is a necessary quality for Christians, if we desire the blessings and entry into the Kingdom of God. (Phil.4:19, Mt 5:3) In Mt 20:28, just as Jesus didn’t come to be served, but to serve, we too must commit ourselves to serving others. If promotion or elevation is desired; Remain Humble—God Will Exalt You At The Proper Time! The times you spend in prayer are the most important moments of your life. In the Bible, the lives of great champions, who gained victory repeatedly, were lives committed to prayer.
