The psalmist David declared in Psalm 40:1 GWT, “I waited patiently for the LORD. He turned to me and heard my cry for help.” In Psalm 40:1, patiently means uncomplaining, long-suffering or not wearying. (Galatians 6:9) There are seasons in our walk with the Lord when He will place us in a holding pattern, because He is trying to get our attention and speak to us.
