Ecclesiastes 11:4, in the New Living Translation, it reads, “Farmers who wait for perfect weather, never plant, if they watch every cloud, they never harvest.” The point the writer is making here is, “In order to harvest, farmers must plant the Word of God, even when conditions are less favorable. (Mk 4:14) If faith does not have works [to back it up], faith by itself is dead [inoperative and ineffective].
