Notice our scripture today says “in” everything; not “for” everything. In other words, no matter what is taking place in our lives, we must not be found guilty of grumbling and complaining. Complaining comes so natural to us, but being able to lift our voice in thanks during our times of testing releases God’s supernatural. Confidence is trusting God based on experience. Experience is knowledge of what you know God can do. Christians who are new in their faith might find it difficult to trust God, because they have less knowledge of Him and they have spent less time with Him. Those who have been following Christ longer have knowledge of what God can do and how He always comes through, even when there is delay or seemingly no progress. We are God’s masterpiece!
